Crostini alla Romana  Recipe for 8


  1. Butter
  2. 16 ¾ inch slice bread, French baguette
  3. 16 slices ¼ inch mozzarella
  4. cloves finely copped garlic
  5. salt and pepper as needed
  6. Extra virgin olive oil
  7. Anchovies, wash gently to remove most of salt (make a pest with same butter, garlic and pepper)


  1. Buttered bottom of baking pan, lain bread, toasted lightly, remove,
  2. Spread garlic anchovy’s pesto, topped with mozzarella,
  3. Bake in pre heated oven 350, remove when cheese is melted
  4. Sprinkle same oil on top

Serve worm end crispy
